This policy covers how we, Suborbis Travel Limited, use personal information collected through the Gap Year Diver website (gapyeardiver.com). The policy also gives you information about how you can view the information collected about yourself.
From time to time, you will be asked to submit personal information about yourself (e.g. name and email address) in order to receive or use services on the Gap Year Diver (now referred to as GYD) website. Such services include newsletters, competitions, surveys and guest books.
By entering your details in the fields requested, you enable Suborbis Travel Limited to provide you with the services you select. Whenever you provide such personal information, we will treat that information in accordance with this policy. When using your personal information Suborbis Travel Limited will act in accordance with current legislation and aim to meet current Internet best practice.

Also, if you post or send offensive, inappropriate or objectionable content anywhere on or to gapyeardiver.com and its subsidiary websites or engage in any disruptive behaviour on gapyeardiver.com and its subsidiary websites, Suborbis Travel Limited can use whatever information is available to stop such behaviour. We will ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
We may use your e-mail address and / or telephone number to contact you for promotional purposes, such as notifying you of improvements to the service, details of new destinations and diving activities as well as new services on gapyeardiver.com and its subsidiary websites. If you receive any such phone call / post / e-mail message from Suborbis Travel Limited and do not wish to be contacted again, you must send an e-mail to info@gapyeardiver.com stating your full name and e-mail address with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line. An option will be available on the enquiry form if you do not wish to ever receive information from Suborbis Travel Limited.

You have the right to request a copy of the personal information that Suborbis Travel Limited holds about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected.
