Whether you’re a student in college, a professional in the field or a lifetime learner; this programme will provide you with the tools and guidance you need to achieve and surpass your Spanish and diving goals.

Our 'Costa Rica Discoverer' programme combines Spanish lessons, local activities and of course scuba diving for a period of between 4 and 18 weeks. The programmes are action-packed with at least 20 hours Spanish per week, adventure trips and regular social events either in town or on the beach.

The weeks are fairly well structured with a nice balance between Spanish, diving, adventure and free time. Each day you will have 4 hours Spanish in either the morning or afternoon at the language school in open air huts in the rainforest. Surrounded by monkeys, birds and luch vegetation; you will learn in a relaxed environment and quickly feel your Spanish proficiency improving. The teaching methods connect language learning to real life situations so that your new vocabulary skills are retained and mastered quickly.

Around the Spanish lessons are diving classes and boat excusrions to neighbouring dive sites. Diving classes are done privately or in small groups (depending on the course) and you can schedule the diving to fit in with your Spanish lessons and social commitments.

When you are out diving, the marine life is quite exquisite around Manual Antonio and you can expect to see everything from crabs and lobsters to Humpback whales and schools of sharks. You should get ready for some incredible diving!

At weekends there are scheduled activities organised for students. These can range from guided tours in Manual Antonio National Park to a full day white water rafting trip on the Rio Naverjo! Other activities that might be included (depending on your length of stay) are mountain biking, canopy tour, mangrove tour, kayaking, sunset cruise, dolphin watching and other special tours.

We appreciate that people have different levels of diving experience behind them. If, for example, you already have your Open Water or Advanced Open Water but you would like to do a specific programme, please contact us using the tabs below and we will discuss the options available.
