Courses: Nitrox Diver, Divemaster Internship, Assistant Instructor, Open Water Scuba Instructor, IDC, EFR Instructor and MSDT Prep (5 PADI Speciality Instructor Certifications - Nitrox Instructor, Navigation Instructor, Deep Diver Instructor, Boat Diving Instructor and Naturalist Instructor.

End Qualification: By the end of this programme you will be qualified to teach PADI courses from Discover Scuba Diving to Divemaster including EFR and Speciality courses.

This programme is designed for people who already have a Rescue Diver Certificate and wish to go on and become an Instructor. It is ten weeks long and focuses on professional scuba diving qualifications that should leave you prepared for a successful career in the diving industry.

Programme breakdown
The first part of the programme is the Divemaster course. This is operated as an internship that runs for 4 weeks. It is possible to do the Divemaster course in as little as 12 days, however, you really do miss out on so much in-water diving experience. With the internship, you'll have unlimited diving and you will easily get to dive about 50-60 times during these first four weeks - the more experience you get the better! During the course you learn a lot about dive leadership skills through both classroom and independent study. There are a wide range of water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch your ability to organise and solve problems. The course is fun but there is quite a lot to learn as well. You also do your Nitrox Course during this time.

The second part of the programme comprises the Instructor level courses. The instructor part of the programme offers you a professional learning experience during which you will learn how to teach diving, utilising the most successful programme in existence – the PADI system of diver education. Not only will you learn how to teach in the classroom, pool and open water environments, you will also learn how to effectively use PADI’s teaching aids and instructional support material.

Dedicated learning time...
The whole part of the Instructor training lasts about 3 weeks. There are about two weeks deliberately scheduled as "free" after the DM course so that you can prepare yourself for the Instructor courses. You will be given an IDC information pack detailing things you should review during this time.

Post Instructor Training
We have a two week period built-in after the IDC for you to teach an Open Water and Advanced Open Water Course under the supervision of an instructor. This is a great opportunity for you to practice your new skills without being 'chucked in at the deep end'.
