Programme SummaryIf you’ve always wanted to try scuba diving – then jump in! Here’s your chance to learn-to-dive and breathe underwater in a fun & safe environment. Dahab is the perfect place for beginners to learn to dive and for qualified divers to progress their dive education. Dahab offers some fabulous dive sites that are very accessible. Some of the best reefs in town are just 20 metres from the dive centre. A quick walk to the shore and then you’re diving in a giant tropical fish tank!
We offer four programmes out here in Dahab. The shortest programme is only 1 week in duration and it's ideal for beginners who are anxious about diving. Our 2 week 'Red Sea Express' programme is a popular option for those looking for more advanced diving skills whilst our 'Rescue and Safety Diver' and ''Master Scuba Diver' programmes really begin to focus on more technical aspects of scuba diving.
We get loads of feedback from customers who have a great time here! Dahab is a fun place to be and for learning to dive...you couldn't wish for a better place to learn! It really is a great spot!
If you have never dived before, this programme is a good starting point. Many people who are new to the sport often feel anxious about breathing underwater and committing to a 2 or 4 week programme can be a bit daunting. This 1 week programme is affordable, enjoyable and teaches you the basics of scuba diving through the PADI National Geogrpahic Open Water course. On completion of the course you will be qualified to dive to 18m and be ready to progress your diving education at a later date if you feel up to it.
This is our fast-track programme for beginners. It is 2 weeks long and includes the PADI National Geofgraphic Open Water course and the PADI Advanced Open Water Course as well as recreational diving. On completion of the programme you will have a qualification which allows you to dive to 30m anywhere in the world. This is an ideal 'gap filler' if you're looking for a new adventure and to learn new skills.
Aside from learning to dive, this programme focuses on rescue and safety courses. These courses introduce you to life-saving skills both for divers and non-divers. You learn about first aid provision, search and recovery techniques and how to rescue divers from the water - all very useful skills! By the end of the 4 weeks you will be trained to a high recreational diving standard. You will be qualified to dive independently to 30m and have enough skills and confidence to save someone's lifef in an emergency.
The programme is fun, educational and rewarding. You learn a lot about yourself and develop new skills you can use for the rest of your life.
Our Master Scuba Diver programme is the most comprehensive learn-to-dive programme we offer. The programme is devoted to PADI speciality training and the Master Scuba Diver rating - a certification which denotes that you have reached the highest recreational diver level in the PADI System of diver education. Learning skills beyond Rescue Diver enables you to explore the reefs and ecosystems at 40m depth as part of the Deep Diver speciality; get to grips with boat diving with the Boat Diver Speciality course; learn to dive with enriched air (more oxygen) as part of the Nitrox Diver course and learn more about underwater navigation and the marine environment as part of the Navigation Diver and Naturalist Diver Speciality courses. This is a great programme and you will learn loads about diving!
