At Gap Year Diver we believe in the notion of REAL travel. We incorporate professional scuba diving courses and additional activities which are rewarding, enriching, adventuresome and involve an element of learning. We also recognise that this may be the first time you have been away for an extended period and that scuba diving as a sport has its risks, therefore, at Gap Year Diver we believe that no corners should be cut. All our dive centres are accredited by PADI and our knowledge of each area ensures you are in safe hands. We ultimately aim to provide affordable and reliable diving experiences whilst at the same time enabling you to experience the wonders each country has to offer.

More than just diver training

Gap Year Diver is more than just a company that specialises in PADI tuition. Although our core product is diver tuition we also try and bring to you a range of activities and trips which make your gap year experience more exciting. Our ‘Dive and Explore’ programme takes you to some of the most renowned ancient monuments in the world and packs in more diving than you could possibly ask for. Our trips to Venezuela and Costa Rica combine Spanish and scuba diving over extended periods, and we try and put on a range of conservation and special interest trips each year (such as archaeological diving, videography trips, charity trips and photographic masterclasses) to broaden the scope of our programmes.
